Job Description

They currently have projects involving roads, rail, tunnels, structures and bridges. They have an immense amount of work coming up in the near future and are after good construction foreman to close a gap in their recruitment.

This is a great opportunity for a General Foreman to work for a main contractor and develop their career working on high profile infrastructure and civils project based in London.
Candidates must be able to show good experience on highways, rail (preferred but not essential), infrastructure, and civil structures schemes. Projects will be up to the value of £650million.

Minimum Qualifications
IOSH Managing Safely or CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme.
CSCS card
Full Driving licence.

Preferred Qualifications
Recognised trade training backed up by progressive career development
First Aid certificate

This role will require candidates to be confident in supervising, monitoring, and motivating both sub-contract and directly employed workforce. You must be committed to maintaining and recording safe working procedures and regulations. You must also have good communication skills and be able to lead a team of section foremen and possess a good knowledge of a wide range of construction techniques and plant.
