Our client, a niche commercial chartered surveyor has a current need for an experienced client and service charge accountant.

You will have prior property accounting experience - this could be from a managing agent, investor or residential background. You will need to have over 3 years experience and have preferably used a property system such as Yard, Horizon, APB, ECS or Propman.

The role will entail:

•Production of Service Charge Accounts and Variance analysis for Client's approval before undertaking audit
•To ensure external audits are carried out in time to comply with RICS regulations usually 3 months after y/e
•To ensure tenants are billed within the deadlines set and in compliance with their lease agreement
•To update systems with approved/revised budget and tenant's on account charges
•To manage and oversee all service charge accounts within the portfolio, and ensure all deadlines met
•To ensure all demands have gone out on time
•To deal with all tenants queries within reasonable time frame
•To ensure outstanding purchase ledger invoices are paid on a weekly basis.
