We are actively seeking a Town Planner able to manage a Development Control Dept on a 12 month contract
This South West London Council requires a strong, organised and personable manager to lead a department consisting of:
2 Team Managers
4 Lead Neighbourhood Planning Officers
7 Planning Officers
2 DC Technical Support Officers
1 Lead Officer Planning Enforcement
3 Enforcement Officers
1 Lead Officer Technology & Admin
The successful applicant will be responsible for the progress of planning applications, enforcement matters, associated appeals, legal agreements and to be responsible for ensuring that service delivery is efficient and effective and deadlines are met. Particular emphasis will be on managing healthy and productive working relationships within the various teams at all levels.
