Job Description
Our clients, a family owned, Gastro Pub and restaurant on the outskirts of Cambridge are seeking a commis chef to assist in the kitchen, working under the direction of the Head Chef. The restaurant has an excellent reputation for the quality of its food and is constantly striving to improve its levels of service. The successful candidate will need to be organised with good time management skills and will take on responsibility for completing all record keeping, ordering and cleaning. A highly motivated individual to whom a focus on quality and attention to detail will be extremely important, the applicant will be expected to play their part in keeping the standards of food preparation and presentation high in their section of the kitchen as well as adhering to health and safety and hygiene regulations. A creative and energetic Chef, the successful applicant will be able embrace the opportunity to work with locally sourced ingredients. All candidates should be eligible to live and work in the UK.
Salary £11K + tips (approx £3K) + Free Live In accommodation
