Site Engineers x 3, Groundworks & RC. This successful Contractor has additional requirements for 3 additional Engineers to work on new projects that they have been awarded. The projects range from £2 to £4.5m and the Engineers will support the Contractor’s own Engineers for periods of 4 to 6 months. These are all self-employed positions. Experienced in Groundworks and RC you should be either capable of working on your own or with minimal supervision.

Experienced in working initially on Groundworks and following on to Reinforced Concrete structures, you will be able to read and understand Construction drawings, specifications and Method Statements. You will be able to motivate and encourage as well as providing accurate and concise information to the workforce. You will need to have clear oral and written communication skills.

The Contractor is amongst the fastest growing companies in the Construction sector, turning over around £45m in 2007, and has picked up a number of high profile projects on these and similar sites in London and the south-east. The Contractor has a good record of working with their clients and aims to build on the repeat business that they already enjoy. The directly employed staff are experts in their field and you will be joining a strong team of professionals.

Remuneration is based on a good hourly rate with plenty of opportunities for long hours. A permanent position may be available if that is your preferred option.

Qualifications are not essential however you must be CSCS carded and are likely to have a minimum of 2 years working on similar projects in the UK over the last few years. All the sites are accessible by public transport, though a car would give you greater flexibility.
