Job Description

Site Agent – Civils. Established Civils Contractor who has recently joined a major Contractor working in the UK and overseas, is expanding their London and south-east division.

Role. Working on a wide range of Civils projects in London and the south-east you will be required to run projects on a site based basis. You must be capable of dealing with people at all levels and working towards commercially profitable projects.

Projects range from major new road construction to extensive Civils reconstruction of roads, highways and pavements, subways and underpasses. Additionally there will be considerable amounts of ducting and pipework to repair and replace, extensive areas of hard and soft landscaping and quantities of street furniture to install.

Background. An Engineering or Trades background is equally acceptable so long as you are aware of the current Health & Safety requirements, have current technical knowledge of materials and procedures, are capable of clearly communicating with site staff, clients and local authority representatives, you must have basic IT skills and be able to read and interpret drawings.

Currently. You may be working in a role where your skills are not acknowledged or there is a limit as to how far you can progress. Rewards. A competitive salary package with the usual benefits of a PAYE position including a fully resourced vehicle and production targets / bonuses. The salary quoted is a guide and suitably qualified applicants should apply as there are some more senior positions coming up.
