Job title - Intermediate electrical design engineer

Location – Central London

Company profile - Our Client is a leading international engineering consultancy, proving a comprehensive understanding in all sectors of the construction market. This consultancy has been responsible for some of the world's largest and most innovative building projects including the Swiss Re building in the city of London, The City life Consortium in Milan and the Heron Quays in Canary Wharf.

Their building performance team applies state of the art computer analysis of buildings and their surroundings, enabling them to create exciting design solutions that not only look good but have been rigorously tested and proven by the latest scientific evaluation techniques.

Qualifications – The successful candidate will be HND/HNC or degree qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate will be a member of the IEE and CIBSE.

Role – Our client is seeking a self-motivated electrical engineer to join their successful design team, based in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their career, as you will be exposed to a variety of challenging building projects within the public and private sector.

Experience – As an experienced intermediate electrical design engineer you will be required to have previous working experience in a similar role. You will demonstrate a good understanding of electrical design of refurbishment and new built projects; knowledge of building services would be an advantage. Excellent communication skills will be required, as you will need to relay information to management and team members.
