Engineer / Agent. Important role on a new build RC frame with associated Piling and Groundworks on a job that is just starting.

New Position for a capable Engineer who is keen to take the next step up in Management of a site. This opportunity has arisen as the Contractor is successfully breaking into the RC frame market. Previously the majority of their work was pure Groundworks. Engineer trained and qualified, you will have a number of years of setting out experience already and be able to take on the day to day running requirements of a £0.5m project, having worked as a No 2 on a larger site or running your own site.

The Project is a £500 – 600,000 contract incorporating Piling, Groundworks and RC frame. The programme is over 20 weeks.

The Position is offered as either a Contract one for the duration of this project or as a Permanent / Direct employment role as there are a number of other projects secured that will follow on from this one and will provide continuity.

Qualifications. Ideally with a Civil Engineering Degree or associated qualification, you will be technically competent and have an understanding of the need to be commercially aware. You must be fully committed to Health & Safety procedures and be prepared to enforce the regulations. CITB training and CSCS carded will also be evident, additionally a First Aid qualification may be advantageous.

Remuneration will be in the £50 to £60,000 region, though the Contractor is prepared to pay additionally for extra skills or levels of experience. Only candidates who are legally entitled to live and work in the UK and can provide verifiable references will be considered.
