My client's environment team provides sustainable solutions to meet our clients' many needs. We focus particularly on new development and the management of existing businesses, industry and estates.
We specialise in delivering clients aspirations through negotiation and relationship building with local and national authorities whilst maintaining independence and objectivity.
We also provide support across the full range of environmental and social issues faced by business, industry and landowners, and their supply chains.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified professional to join one of our growing practice areas. The role involves being fully competent in your own discipline, being able to work independently with minimal supervision, and being confident to share your expertise with others by providing guidance and support as required. The jobholder will be highly credible with clients, being able to translate client needs into practical requirements and to communicate effectively the value of our services to clients. The role involves specific project responsibilities, including monitoring the accuracy of project plans, escalating problems, identifying risks and managing requirement changes. The jobholder may be required to lead projects and to provide support to team members. The role also involves documenting and sharing success stories and being confident to apply knowledge across different clients and markets.


About You

Significant consultancy experience with a broad range of EIAs.
BSc Geography, Chemistry, Biology or similar,
MSc EIA or town planning (or equivalent for exceptional candidates)
Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment / Chartered Environmentalist.
Effective communicator with presentation and briefing skills;
Ability to work with specialists in other disciplines to persuade and encourage;
Problem solving skills and ability to work on own initiative to drive implementation forward;
Ability to deliver to programme and budget.
Ability to work on own initiative whilst liasing closely with the directors to ensure a consistent approach across the company
