An excellent opportunity has arisen to work within a Building Services Engineering Consultancy formed in 1974, that provides expert and bespoke designs for Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health services for all types of buildings. With offices in London (Swanley) and Bristol, the company has extensive experience in local & national contracts with Government departments, Councils and private clients. Established for over 30 years, they have the knowledge and experience to provide their clients with a no-nonsense engineering approach and on-budget, on-time philosophy to ensured that they maintain an 85% repeat commissions figure year on year from their satisfied clients. Providing a comprehensive design service for Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health projects of up to £25m, this consultancy is known as the company that delivers on time and on budget.
Projects:
This client produces work for the public and private sector, from Prisons, Detention Centres and Police Stations to local Health Centres and Hospitals where they create sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions.

Role: Senior/Intermediate mechanical design engineer.
You will have in-depth experience in the design of schools, prisons and hospitals. You will be working within a team of 10 engineers that cover the public and private sector projects, you will report directly to the South East director. You will be experienced in the Public sector/Government type works, with particular emphasis on Heating, HWS & CWS.
Qualifications:
You will be required to hold a degree in mechanical engineering or building services.
Modules – Heat GAIN/LOSS, HVAC Design
Software – HEVACOMP, BESPOKE

Requirements:

You will be experienced in the Public sector/Government type works, with particular emphasis on Heating, HWS & CWS. You will have experience of design of schools, prisons and hospitals. This role requires an engineer that enjoys detailed design, as the role will consist of 60% design work and 40% site work.
