We are looking for a Electrical Engineer with building design experience within an engineering consultancy environment. This post requires candidates committed to delivering innovative design solutions to our clients within a commercially sound framework, at all times.

The key areas of responsibility for this role are:
• Acting as Job Leader managing single or multi-disciplinary projects
• Operating and competently working on an independent basis
• Communicating directly with clients, developing and maintaining key client relationships, maximizing opportunities for repeat business.
• Preparing technical and financial proposals for new work.
• Planning and monitoring job resourcing/expenditure and adjust as necessary.
• Managing workload of Project Discipline Engineers and Technicians.
• Preparing and taking responsibility for concept and preliminary engineering solutions for detail design
• Preparing Technical Specifications
• Checking/verifying other team members work
• Monitoring financial performance of jobs
• Being alive to new project opportunities

You will have a Degree in Engineering plus relevant post graduate professional experience. Be Chartered or I Eng Member of a relevant Institution. Have experience of working on comercial building projects. Good communication skills, dealing with other employees and external clients.
