Job Description

The units are of modern design and offer high quality service and cuisine. The company employs 700/800 people and achieved Investors in People accreditation.
Currently we are looking for an Executive Head Chef which will be working closely with the company directors including the implementation of menus, liasing with suppliers, recruitment of senior members of staff and mostly managing the company’s food operation and budget. The ideal Executive Head Chef will have:
Experience in large Commercial Kitchens or Retail Catering
Management, computer and accounting skills
Ability to work under pressure, use his own initiative and able to review & recommend
The Executive Head Chef will be responsible for:
Production Management – To plan, control and monitor all aspects of production including: staffing levels, stock levels and rotation, food cost, quality control and recipes adherence.

Staffing – To liase with all head chefs based in the various units of the company. To recruit, train and develop all existing and new kitchen staff as within the company.

Hygiene / Health and Safety - To ensure all production staff are trained to required level in: Food Hygiene (HACCAP) and Health and Safety standards.

Office Administration –Completing and reporting on the monthly company’s reports and accounts.

We will offer:
Salary from £40 – 42k per year
