A reputable and rapidly expanding organisation providing high quality services to vulnerable people is currently seeking a highly experienced and professional Residential Homes Manager in East London.

This home is unique as it is split into individual flats on three floors, with each flat having its own kitchen and lounge area. The home will have 30 beds available

The home will specialise in the care of adults with learning and disabilities, and will be looking to develop a very specialist supportive living delivery model.

The successful applicant will have a RMA qualification and have detailed knowledge and experience in relation to the management of learning disability services. People management skills will be critical for this post so applicants will need to demonstrate how they can manage difficult situations and achieve successful outcomes.

The building is due to open in September, therefore the successful applicant will need to work over the next few months on project planning the way forward, developing and growing future links with social care professionals and undertaking the full recruitment process for their staff team.

Once appointed the manager will be required to register with CSCI as the registered manager.

Experience of marketing residential care, supervision & performance management, recruitment, meeting clear objectives, action planning and developing an effective working environment will be essential requirements.
