Reporting to a Design Team Leader, the key focus of this role is to support the out performance of the Utility capital programme through the development of value for money solutions to a wide range of technical challenges. There are opportunities to contribute throughout the whole range of project delivery but there will be a particular focus on the front end design activities such as technical investigations, studies, costing, option comparison, development and preparation of specifications and working with partners to deliver solutions.

Candidates should be educated to degree level, be chartered engineers or working towards chartership, and have at least two years experience of working in a capital projects delivery environment. Flexible, adaptable, goal orientated self starters who are good team players will find this an exciting opportunity to make a major contribution whilst working in a flexible, open delivery environment.
