Piling Engineer – Olympics
Contract
£22 - £23 / Hr

A vacancy has arisen for two Contract Engineers based in Stratford, reporting to the Site Agent

Main Purpose of Job:
Assisting ensuring that the company procedures, including HSEQ are implemented

Monitoring of site performance and costs, ensuring the correct execution of the pile design, plus preparation of accounts for submission to clients

Key Tasks / Responsibilities:

Health Safety Environment and Quality
•Checking the accuracy of pile set out, steel, concrete levels and making sure that the works are in accordance with the Specification.
•Highlighting trends and implementing improvements.
•Reviewing concrete over supply.

Method of Works
•To be familiar with the contract drawings, specification, and site investigations.
•To compile Method Statements and Works Procedures jointly with the foreman in accordance with the contract requirements and specifications.

Skills Required - Essential:
•A good level of numeracy and be analytical in nature.
•Ability to cope with deadlines.
•Able to work alone and as part of a team.
•Be self motivating.
