Currently we are undergoing an exciting revamp and expanding our market into the high streets.
Our units are of modern design and offer high quality service and cuisine. The company employs 700/800 people and achieved the Investors in People accreditation.

Currently we are looking for a highly skilled Head Chef who is able to guide his team to success at one of our popular branches in Covent Garden.
The ideal Head Chef will have:
• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef in either Retail Catering – Contract Catering – Conference & Banqueting or Commercial Kitchens such as high volume up market Café’s or Brasseries
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene Training and standards
• Ability to manage, supervise and operate a high volume operation, use his own initiative
• Good communication skills and well used to dealing with an international workforce
The Head Chef will be responsible for:
Kitchen & Production Management – To plan, control and monitor all aspects of production including: staffing levels, stock levels and rotation, food cost, quality control and recipes adherence.

Staffing – To plan and manage the weekly kitchen staff rota, to recruit and discipline staff as necessary. General day to day management of staff.

Hygiene / Health and Safety - To ensure all kitchen staff is trained to required level in: Food Hygiene (HACCAP) and Health and Safety standards. To compile, monitor and record all documentation as required.

Office Administration – Daily ordering of stock, booking in of deliveries, inter-company invoicing and general administration. Completing and reporting on the monthly stock take.

General – dealing with day to day queries, reporting and monitoring any maintenance issues, to assist in staff training and development, to assist in the control of GP, ensure highest standards are maintained at all times.
