Job Description

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a an ambitious Project Officer with a progressive London Borough Council. You will play a key role on a major initiative which is designed to improve street lighting standards and provision throughout the borough and to comply with European Lighting Standards. Your core duties will be to analyse current lighting provision, reduce light pollution, replace outdated stock and formulate lighting strategy and forward planning. In addition you will be required to analyse data, produce reports, maintain & update databases, coordinate meetings and provide public consultation exercises to the community and relevant stakeholder groups. Essential requirements are a degree level qualification, good administrative skills and a knowledge of planning preferred but not essential.
