My client require a Mechanical Engineer to work on a range of challenging, dynamic and high-profile projects where you will have the ability to receive and develop a brief and contribute to the development of the design and construction process.Job description
The successful applicant will work as part of a new team to deliver medium to large scale projects in both the public and private sector.

You role will include Mechanical design work for a range of projects
The Mechanical Engineer shall carry out Heat loss and Heat gain calculation both by static and dynamic means
Establish the ventilation, heating and A/C layout together with all aspect of public health.
Coordinate with the electrical design engineer and issue all information to allow electrical design to be completed
Liaise with the design team members to convey the requirements of the M&E service to them, as well as understanding the client brief
Write the specification for the project and establish the schedules for all equipment
Respond to contractor queries and attend site progress meetings

You will be required to have:

HNC/D (or equivalent) in a related subject
Experience and exposure of a range of mechanical engineering solutions
Experience in HVAC applications
Experience in the use of Hevacomp
A strong technical focus
