MAINTENANCE MANAGER WANTED

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced maintenance manager to enjoy the financial benefits and flexibility of a temporary position within an established charity.

The maintenance manager's responsibilities will include:

Overall responsibility for management of a routine repairs service, planned & cyclical maintenance programmes, major repairs and development projects

Responsibility for ensuring that all maintenance work is completed to an agreed satisfactory standard and within budget.

To ensure that statutory compliance standards are carried out and recorded for all the charities housing stock and those buildings where the charity has an interest or duty of care

To provide technical advice to the Head of Housing & Support, Head of Children's Services and/or Management Team on Building Regulations, Planning and other relevant legislative provisions.

To ensure that all adaptations, refurbishments or major repairs are carried out in accordance with relevant planning and building regulations.
