Job Description

The pub is a chocolate box picture pub, restaurant and 3 bedroom inn located in an affluent Cotswold village, three miles from Stow on the Wold in Gloucestershire. The pub features flagstone floors, beams, open fireplaces, an abundance of fresh flowers and boasts a fine reputation for good food, wine, beer and excellent customer service.
We currently have the following vacancies:
1. GENERAL ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR: working closely with the owner, you will have good leadership qualities, set high standards, enhance sales and provide our customers with great service. You will be responsible for all the daily restaurant and bar operations, duties to include cash ups, lock ups, assistance with computerised menu changes, ordering stock and generally take control.
2. CHEF/COOK ASSISTANT: applicants should have a passion for freshly prepared food and be able to adapt and learn to cook a variety of different dishes while maintaining our high standard of food using fresh ingredients.
3. GENERAL ASSISTANTS: while demonstrating your excellent front and back of house skills, you must be of neat appearance, with an outgoing personality and must definitely enjoy working with the public.
These positions all offer free live-in accommodation, above average hourly rates of pay, and could suit either single or couple applicants.
