Community Planner

The RTPI are URGENTLY looking to recruit a Community Planner.

Planning Aid England provides free, independent and professional planning advice and support to disadvantaged groups and individuals unable to afford professional fees through a planning advice helpline and community planning activities

As the appointed Community Planner will be required to identify and engage disadvantaged communities constructively in the planning system within The East Of England region.

You will be required to embrace diversity, have knowledge & understanding of the needs of diverse groups, including BME, women, disabled and young people and the ability to deal sensitively with them. You will also have ability to communicate effectively internally and externally at all levels and be able to make effective and professional presentations to a varied audience.

The successful Community planner will have a recognised Town Planning degree.
