Job Description
Our client, a multidisciplinary construction Consultancy requires a Project Manager to work within the Developer Led Infrastructure team on a selection of projects in the South of England.
The successful candidate will have a construction related university degree and have Chartered Engineer Status.
Responsibilities:
» Efficiently direct and manage project consultants and other resources in order to ensure quality, client satisfaction and success.
» Be the hub of communication between consultants and client.
» Encourage best practice systems and controls.
» Oversee the delivery of a robust cost plan and forecast with support from a commercial manager.
» Review of the Project programme.
» Reporting on progress to the client.
» Understanding the project constrains and the effects they impose on the programme.
» Chairing and Controlling meetings.
» Facilitating Change control.
» Understanding the requirements and lead in times of all statutory services.
» Identification of business risks throughout project lifecycle.
» Drive out unnecessary costs.
» Establish project KPI’s.
» Supervise a collaborative approach to costs, through value management.
Skills/Experience Required:
» High level of experience in developer PM role
» Experience of planning process
» Experience of Consortium management
» Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
» Good presentation skills
» Good commercial understanding
» IT literate
Salary and benefits are commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience.
