Job Description

Our Client is looking to recruit an experienced Transport Planner / Highway Engineer.

Established skills in all areas of Highways, Traffic and Transportation are essential. The ideal candidate will also be able to manage a team of Consultants, have 3D alignment design abilities and traffic modelling experience. You will be expected to work as part of a team providing design advice and solutions to both private and public sector clients. This position requires an enthusiastic, hard-working person, who wants to be part of our growing dynamic teams based at our four UK offices. The candidate will have extensive experience in the design of priority junctions, roundabouts, local highways, trunk roads, and major interchanges etc. You should have good project management skills and the ability to manage less senior colleagues.

Applicants must be able to attend Client and Design Team meeting and be able to manage large and small development projects.

Established skills in current CAD software (AutoCAD, AutoTrack, PDS/Civil 3D or similar etc.) and transport modelling applications (ARCADY, LINSIG etc.) are essential. You will have a sound understanding of transport planning environments, as appropriate. Candidates must have a relevant first degree (or equivalent) in a technical subject (i.e. transport, engineering).
