Job Description

This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a team of up to 6 engineers and inspectors, delivering inspections and project work on the Inspection of Highway Structures Contract for a large international consultancy. In this positon you will be required to deliver the programme of Principal and General Inspections to acceptable quality standards and financial targets. You'll provide effective leadership to the team, and assist in allocating and managing staff and other resources to deliver projects to agreed budgets and timescales. You'll also have a chance to develop the inspection programme with project stakeholders (including the contractor, client and other internal teams), and to co-ordinate their input to the inspection programme, facilitating its successful delivery.


They are looking for a qualified candidate preferably in possession of Honours degree in civil/structural engineering; either MICE qualified (or working towards) or similar. You'll have a high level of competency in design/construction supervision/maintenance/inspection of highway structures and will also be competent in relevant health and safetyrequirements.
