Position Type:Locum / Contract
Length:6 months ongoing
Pay Rate:£22 – 27.00 per hour

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Qualified Social Worker interested to pursue a locum position in an Unaccompanied Minors / Asylum Team in a London Borough. Required to assist in providing and upholding a high quality service to a Children & Families Services. The services provided are such as Family Support and Child Care planning to the Community.
You will ideally have experience of either Asylum/Unaccompanied Minors, Looked After Children and/or providing Child Care Planning services in a statutory setting.

Job Description:
·Completing comprehensive and core assessments.
·Carrying out investigations and assessing care plans
·Managing case loads including care proceedings through the courts.
·Attending and contributing to meetings including looked after children and child care reviews.
To be considered for the role of Qualified Social Worker, Children and Families Services you will need the following:
·Hold the Diploma or Degree in Social Work
·Have current GSCC registration (Or pending)
·Have current CRB issued within 12 months (We will provide you with a CRB)
·Good knowledge and understanding of statutory Children and Families
