BBT is currently seeking an Hydraulic Engineer to work as part of a multi discipline team on the design of wastewater/water treatment plants, for an international recognised client.

You should be competent in all aspects of hydraulic design, including free surface flow and pressurised flow. Experience of surge analysis would be an advantage.

A good working knowledge of hydraulic design and experience of the interfaces with other disciplines, e.g. Process, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical.

You should be familiar with process design for both water and wastewater treatment and should be able to undertake and report on the hydraulic assessment of existing assets and should be familiar with the hydraulic design of sewer overflows.

Good communication and analytical skills are essential and you should be able to write clear, accurate and concise engineering reports and specifications. You should be able to work to deadlines and should be a team player with the ability to work with minimum of supervision
