Job Description
The Inn is popular with residents, visitors and locals, giving a reflection of the rich, rural life found in the middle of Somerset. We have 7 guest rooms, an a la carte restaurant, function room and a busy bar.
We are currently recruiting:
COUPLE / FRIENDS – CHEF & GENERAL ASSISTANT
Chef / Very Good Cook.
Assisting Head Chef in busy country pub/inn. Preparing food from raw ingredients. Able to work as part of a happy team. Able to deputise for Head Chef on his days off.
Ordering, stock control, keeping kitchen to exacting standard of cleanliness.
Imaginative and passionate about fresh, delicious home cooked food.
General Assistant
Duties include : Waiting, Bar work and house keeping. Experience would be preferable, but not essential, as we consider personality, drive, good people skills and customer service to be just as important.
