An international consultancy has an excellent opportunity for an experienced bridge engineer to join its busy design team. In this role, you’ll undertake the design of bridges for major infrastructure projects in the UK and overseas, as well as managing graduate engineer and technician staff and taking direct responsibility for delivery. It’s a varied and exciting role, which will involve the detailed design of large post-tensioned concrete bridges. You’ll also ensure all work is completed within agreed budgets and timescales.

Interested candidagtes should possess Chartered Engineer in ICE, IStructE status, or equivalent with a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. You’ll have experience in the production of detailed designs for large post-tensioned bridges to British Standards and / or AASHTO. In addition, you’ll need the communication skills to write technical reports, build good working relationships and present to colleagues and clients too.
