A leading international consultancy are looking for an experienced Bridge Engineer who can take responsibility for assessments, design and contract document preparation within a team.

The role of Senior Bridge Design Engineer has the following key responsibilities and main duties: Preparing design calculations and drawing production; Assisting with preparing technical documents and reports;
Dealing with project related correspondence;
Maintaining contact with the client organisation and other organisations including attending meetings; Organising inspections for assessment ;Bridge strength assessments ; and Site Supervision

This is a position of responsibility for a chartered engineer who has the MICE and/or MIStructE qualification. You should be capable of liasing directly with clients and be able to deliver good written reports and communicate orally. A sound understanding of Local Government responsibilities would be advantageous.
