Our client, an elegant 4* Country House Hotel set within its own grounds in the Northamptonshire countryside requires a Commis Barman. The successful candidate will have good customer care skills and will be able to demonstrate attention to details. Responsibilities will include ensuring that all bar areas are clean and tidy at all times. Serving beverages and associated services to the required standard. Ensuring that current stock levels are maintained. Ensuring that the cellars and back of house areas are neat, clean and tidy. Ensuring correct and accurate billing of refreshments served. Accurately requisitioning stock from one liquor area to another. Making the Head Bar Person aware of stock requirements for ordering purposes. Having a reasonable knowledge of beverages, wines and tobacco and liaising with the sommeliers in terms of beverage service to the guests
