Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Sous Chef to work under the direction of a renowned Michelin Star, executive Chef. Our clients, a 5* luxury hotel with a spa and many other amenities are seeking to appoint 2 Sous Chefs, one very experienced in pastry, to join their 32 strong kitchen brigade. The chefs work across the seven kitchens which serve eight outlets including a 3 rosette fine dining restaurant.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic with a passion for food. A highly motivated individual to whom a focus on quality and attention to detail will be extremely important, the applicant will be expected to play their part in keeping the standards of food preparation and presentation high in their section of the kitchen as well as adhering to health and safety and hygiene regulations. Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills he/she will have an unparalleled opportunity to contribute to the consistency of performance in the kitchen and to a belief in the value of freshness and quality. Candidates will preferably have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within a 4* or 5* establishment and will be eager to develop their skills working with fresh ingredients under the guidance of the Head Chef. Previous rosette experience will be an advantage although not essential. All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK and will be able to demonstrate a consistent work record.
