Our client, a prestigious 5* hotel set in its own estate in Hertfordshire is seeking to appoint an Executive Housekeeper to head up the housekeeping team. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a 5* hotel or country house and will be expected to ensure the smooth running of the housekeeping department whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel and estate. The team is responsible for all the accommodation within the estate, including 46 bedrooms in 2 locations, the Chairman’s House and 16 staff houses as well as a renowned restaurant and golf club.
The main duties include supervising the housekeeping staff, especially with regards to timekeeping and uniform, checking the cleanliness of the bedrooms and public rooms and monitoring the linen deliveries. You will also expected to carry out the associated office procedures using the Fidelio system and to report any maintenance requirements. All candidates must have an eye for detail with strong organisational and leadership skills and must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
Salary £32K - £35K
