Project Engineer – Rail
North West London
£35/hr
Our client requires 2 project engineers to work in a consultancy based role in North West London. The project is underway and our client requires starters ASAP. Initially the contract duration is 4-6 months with a view towards ongoing work.
Duties / Requirements
•Inspections of all civil structures within a region of the underground network (bridges, tunnels, and foundations etc).
•Must be proficient with inspections and associated documentation.
•Sound technical knowledge of engineering materials to be inspected (RC, steel, masonry etc)
•Minimum of 2 years rail experience, preferably in the London Underground or Network Rail.
•Civil Engineering Degree or Diploma qualified.
•Occasional night inspections will be required within the scope of the works.
The company has been established for 18 years and is now operating UK and Ireland wide. A very competitive hourly rate on a contract looking towards ongoing positions (£30/hr - £35/hr depending on experience). Experience in the rail industry is required.
