Be involved in history in the making, be part of the team that will deliver the 2012 Olympics. An opportunity for a Senior Project Manager has arisen within a large UK contractor group who will play a large part in the Olympic construction leading up to the 2012 games.
Company
This multi million £ part of the Olympic project run by a prestigious blue chip company is looking for an experienced Project manager. The company provides a range of Civil Engineering construction services throughout the UK, with this position being part of a large team constructing part of the Olympics 2012.
Main Duties
As a Senior Project Manager you will be working very closely with the site Agent to provide technical information for the construction of associated roads, and rail/road bridge structures. Duties will includes management of specialist sub-contracts, control and monitoring of safety in line with the method statements and risk assessments and company standards and assisting with the compliance including Quality Systems.
Requirements
The successful candidate will bring to the role;
•Previous demonstrated experience in large RC structures and steel work.
•A willingness to handle the contractual obligations of the awarded package.
•Proven excellent communication and people skills
•Past experience heavy civils and rail will be highly advantageous. .
