Our client has a vacancy to fill for a Senor Remediation Engineer at their Westcott office (near Aylesbury):

One of a team of 3 Senior Remediation Engineers, working for BAE Systems Environmental's Business Manager - South, you will be responsible for the cradle to grave delivery of land remediation projects on BAE Systems redundant land and for external clients. The size and value of projects allocated to you will depend on experience and ability, but larger projects may be in excess of £5m in value.

The following attributes are essential to the role:

- Experience of interpreting contaminated land site assessments to design remediation solutions

- Experience in project managing the implementation of remediation schemes

- Experience in the management of construction or remediation site works

- A full UK driving license

The following attributes are desirable:

- A degree in a relevant discipline (eg environmental or ground engineering)

- Experience in performing contaminated land risk assessment

- Experience in commercial and financial aspects of project management

- Experience in negotiating remedial solutions with regulators

- Experience in managing demolition works

The role is based at Westcott near Aylesbury, and will require significant travel, with some periods of weekly commuting.
