Planning Obligations / Section 106 Officer is urgently required for this prestigious North London Authority which is one of five London Boroughs designated as host to the 2012 Summer Olympics.

The Authorities policy on Planning Obligations seeks to offset any negative impacts on the community caused by development, with this being achieved through a requirement for financial and non-financial contributions from developers towards affordable housing, new schools, open spaces and transport improvements.

To ensure that planning obligations are fulfilled, you will be responsbile for:
- monitoring the operation of the Council’s processes and procedures for securing planning obligation and concluding Section 106 agreements
- helping in developing processes and procedures relating to the monitoring of Section 106 agreements
- Liaising with internal parties including finance and other planners, and to assist the adoption of the S106 Policy.

You will need to be self-motivated, and possess strong administration and project management skills.
