Site Engineer - Groundworks. This is a new project initially involving some demolition, land clearance and piling, where you may be required to set out for the piling contractor if their Engineer is not on site. Moving on to pile caps and traditional ground-works, drainage and ground-beams. Finishing up with the external groundworks and hard landscaping.

An Engineer is required with a broad engineering background capable of organising the Engineering elements of this site through the various phases. A tertiary level Engineering qualification would be acceptable. Previous experience with one of the recognised Groundworks contractors would be preferred. This is a role that would be suitable for a Site or Setting out Engineer seeking to take on a more Senior Engineer’s role, moving into management as Package and Project Engineers thus advancing their careers.

The Contractor is recognised as a successful groundworks contractor working in the south of England, predominantly in north London and surrounding areas. You will need good communication skills, be IT literate, able to liaise with the various statutory bodies involved with this work and above all represent our client in a professional manner.

This is a 4-5 month project and the Contractor is seeking a committed candidate for the role. A 5 ½ day week will operate. Must be CSCS certified and ideally with a current First Aid certificate, you should be a car driver. Excellent rewards for the right candidate.
