SPECIFICATION:

Accountability:-
The engineer will be responsible, on behalf of the client, for reviewing, rejecting, or accepting mechanical systems designs in construction documents under development by independent engineering firms who are carrying out the detailed engineering & design for the expansion of industrial and commercial ports in Jubail Industrial City. The engineer will provide technical guidance to the AE design team, ensure the client technical requirements are met and that optimal design with good engineering practice is accomplished. The engineer may represent the client in technical meetings, value engineering analysis and is also expected to provide technical support during the construction phase. He will coordinate and visit the project sites, as required, to verify conditions, resolve design issues, and/or interpret documents. The engineer will accept & implement technical and administrative direction from the group supervisor as required and may provide on-the- job training as needed.

Key Technical Skills:
POSITION SKILLS:
Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from accredited college and/or university. Substantial, post-graduate, experience in the design & construction of mechanical systems such as large pump stations, large pneumatic systems, bulk storage tanks, pressure vessels, piping, material handling, and conveying facilities for heavy industries including oil, gas, petrochemical, fertilizers, & steel products. Substantial hands-on experience in design and adequate experience in construction support, testing & inspection. Adequate knowledge with relevant engineering software for analysis of systems design Adequate knowledge of relevant codes and standards such as ASME, ANSI, AWWA, NFPA, & API. Registered or chartered professional engineer is highly desirable
