We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic COUPLE until January 2009 (possibly longer) to take on a variety of responsibilities in a very busy pub/restaurant.
Duties will include waiting on, bar service, meet and greet of guests for both the pub and bedrooms and assisting the management team in the day to day running of the business. You will also be required to assist with the housekeeping of the 4 bedrooms that we offer, as well as breakfast service during particularly busy periods. As a result of the variety of duties, experience is required of the hospitality trade.
You must be friendly, outgoing and happy to work in a team. You must both be fluent in English if it is not your mother tongue as conversation with customers is a key part of the role!
We are a gorgeous pub in South Devon set in about 8 acres of ground with a lake full of ducks and a beautiful garden. We are a young friendly team who work very hard but all enjoy our work. Accommodation is a double en-suite bedroom in a 2 bedroom staff flat above the pub (not the biggest room in the world but a lovely flat!). Large kitchen and lounge are separate with private internet access and laundry facilities.
