Our Client is a premier UK construction, property and infrastructure consultant. They are part of an international consultancy ranking within the top 10 worldwide. They require a Project Manager to work within their Environment business unit, Infrastructure sector.
The function of the role will be that of Contract Administrator for the project with the client. You will be based at either the London or Camberley office, but must be flexible to travel around the South, including the South Coast.
All contractual communication to the Contractor from the client Project Manager shall be through you. All contractual communication to the Contractor shall be suitably coded and sequentially numbered so that each communication is uniquely identifiable at any given time.
Responsibilities include:
1) Undertake contract administration in accordance with the Conditions of Contract.
Key areas are:
• review Contractors’ programme and forecasts to verify their appropriateness or advise why not;
• chair weekly meetings;
• issue contract certificates;
• ensure the Contractor provides the necessary information for the H&S Files;
• agree the Final Account.
2) Maintain the Project Value Register.
3) Maintain the Project Risk Registers and monitor and advise client Project Manager of project and contract risks.
Experience of NEC contract is essential.
Salary and benefits are commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience.
