To be successful you will be technically sound with strong geotechnical design capabilities. You will have a first degree in civil engineering and an MSc in a relevant discipline would be beneficial (though not crucial).
In addition to you academic achievements you will be ambitious and dynamic; able to work using your own initiative, and eager to develop and progress within your career. Though not a prerequisite, a candidate that is chartered or working towards chartered status demonstrates a dynamic character and would be looked on favourably.
