Job Description

ECOLOGIST:
Ecologist required for large, international company and in 2007 was voted the 11th best company in Britain to work for, which was way ahead of any of their core competitors. Our client is an employee-owned company, and this is core to ther principals of ownership and valuing people.

The successful candidate will have:

· Excellent protected species knowledge and experience, including being a holder of a NE European species disturbance licence within the last 5 years.
· Current holder of a great crested newt, dormouse, or white-clawed crayfish licence.
· Proven track record of experience in ecology and nature conservation in the UK consultancy market.
· Highly competent in undertaking extended Phase 1 ecological assessments and ecological impact assessments.
· Full Member of IEEM (CEnv for senior positions)
