They are now looking to establish a buildings design team to compliment their large Bahrain City Centre project team that is delivering one of the largest projects in the history of Bahrain. They are looking to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer who can demonstrate leadership skills to join our team in the Bahrain office.

You will have the full support of one of the most experienced buildings teams within the industry

The appointed individual will be involved at senior level with developing, designing and detailing activities for building structures schemes, together with associated project/financial management activity. The role will also encompass mentoring junior engineers. Have the opportunity to project manage engineering teams comprising building services engineers and civil engineers. The successful candidate will have day to day running of projects, including technical, staff and financial management. Business development activities including obtaining new clients, maintaining existing clients, identifying new opportunities, support to marketing and business development plans. Non-technical managerial activities such carrying out Professional Development Reviews and assisting with day-to-day running of the structures department. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be involved on a range of small to large high profile projects. The role will be challenging, varied and offer fantastic opportunities for skill set and career development.

Responsibilities to include:

·Interpreting and delivering the project/client briefs
·Input and advising on Technical content of projects
·Project staffing programming and budgets
·Identifying resource requirements for project delivery against programme
·Client liaison and project meetings
·Identification and management of risk
·Assisting with staff management, including recruitment
·Site attendance Part-time and/or full-time
·Identifying further opportunities with existing and new clients
