Job Description

Looking for signalling design Engineer’s at Principal or Design Manager Level.

Skills Required:

 PTS
 1.1.130 Principle Designers Licence / 1.1.145 Design Manager
 HNC level education in an engineering discipline, with experience
 Knowledge of railway construction methods and materials used.
 Detailed knowledge of Group and company standards and procedures and HSE legislation.
 Good office applications and CAD and CAD standards knowledge.
 Ability to plan and produce compliant signalling schemes with minimum supervision.
 Detailed knowledge of
 Signalling principles.
 Circuits and components
Implications of working with other disciplines.

Responsibility:

 Provide design deliverables that satisfy safety and quality requirements.
 Report to Design Engineer/Design Verifier for guidance and instruction as required.
 Produce design calculations and drawings.
 Verification and validation of Engineering non complex design drawings
 Direct assisting design personnel and other personnel as required.
 Contribute to the production of design investigations, reports and specifications.
 Design in compliance with relevant technical, professional and group standards.
 Ensure project change for design package is fully Implemented and recorded
 Undertake work using formal processes and procedures.
 Manage and record time and assist in providing time estimates for tasks
 Interface with testing, installation and other departments as necessary.
