Job Description
A leading international design consultant currently has a vacancy in their Glasgow office for an Engineer or Scientist to work alongside the business manager to build their Flood Risk Management capability in Scotland.
The post will involve leading a team of technical staff working on Flood Risk Management projects across Scotland and assisting with projects in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Current projects include Flood Risk Assessments, design and appraisal of Flood Defence schemes, Drainage studies and River Engineering. The post will also support our Ports & Harbours and Coastal teams and experience in these disciplines would be considered an asset.
A relevant degree with post-graduate qualification in Hydrology or Hydraulics is required and membership of ICE or CIWEM would be expected, although candidates that are close to completing their professional review will also be considered.
