One of the UK's leading, privately owned, consultancies, with a pedigree stretching back to 1868 is seeking a suitably experienced Senior Transport Modeller to join their busy team in West London. With over 7,500 employees and a turnover of approximately £400 million, this is one of the most well-established and high profiled consultancies in the UK.

You will be involved in working on 2 of the largest and most key projects of the times including the Thames Gateway Bridge and the Olympic Delivery Scheme.

Through their work on Thames Gateway Bridge they have developed unique experience and knowledge of the policy, institutional and project context for the Thames Gateway Bridge and has demonstrated its ability to manage and deliver the services of a multi-disciplined team on the early stages of implementation of one of London's most prestigious engineering schemes

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, willing and have the ability to use their initiative. Preferably studying towards Chartered status of a professional institution such as ICE or IHT

Responsibilities will include:
·Providing technical inputs to the various client groups as well as co-ordinating modelling advise
·Assist in the expanding internal markets within the Group
·Assist in the management and implementation of project Modelling and CAD standards
·Support clients with transport modelling on network models such as VISUM, SATURN, CONTRAM or EMME/2, and micro-simulation using VISSIM
·Assist in the management of junior staff.

You must have:
·Degree in a numerate discipline
·Experience within transport modelling
·Experience in some or all of the following would be useful but is not essential: SATURN, VISUM, VISSIM, MapInfo, ACCESS
·Good communication skills that will enable excellent report writing and verbal communication skills for presentations
