Site Engineer
M25
Up to £30K + Car and Share Options

Our client is looking for a Site Engineer for their M25 project.

The role will have the following functions;

Setting out of works for a construction project and the continual monitoring of the engineering and communication of the engineering requirements.
Health, Safety & Environment
Be familiar with, and demonstrate commitment to the requirements of the Health & Safety and Environmental Policies
Implement the relevant requirements of the SMS within his/her area of responsibility
Ensure that the Health Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures are effectively communicated to the workforce.
Principle Duties & Accountabilities

Key Working Relationships

Supervising responsibility for: Graduate and Assistant Engineers
Liaison with:
• Internal:
- Senior Engineer (line manager)
- Foremen (communication of all engineering requirements)
- Materials Engineer (arrangement of testing as required)
-Inspector of works (arrangement of inspection of works as required)
- Intermittent liaison with – (General Foremen, Works Manager, Safety Manager, Environmental Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Planner, Buyer, Office Manager)
• External:
- Client's representative (confirming requirements, offering works for inspection and confirming acceptance)
- Subcontractors (communication of all engineering requirements)

Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications Required
Essential:

• Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or BETec in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering

• Relevant CSCS Card
• Training in Health & Safety and Environmental management
