Job Summary
The clients Design & Engineering Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer within their Head Office in Surrey to add expertise and support within a multi-discipline environment.

The role encompasses the positions of Senior Engineer and Design Lead as part of their Refurbishment and Appraisal team. The team is currently involved in a number of high profile projects ranging from £100,000 to £20 million, in the education, commercial, residential and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities
Managing multiple projects to completion and within budget and to programme
Undertaking research and analysis and preparing recommendations and conclusions for formal review by senior managers
Providing technological input and supervisory technical input to others within the existing team
Supporting other structural engineers and technicians to complete projects to meet client specification
Effective time management across multiple projects
Further developing relationships with clients

Requirements
Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in Structural or Civil Engineering
Chartered membership of the ICE or IStructE would be an advantage
Project experience in structural engineering, including design and surveys on UK/NZ/AU based schemes
Ability to work within budget and to programme, to control costs and manage resources and change control
Experience in the use of structural analysis and design software
