Deputy to Contracts Manager, Civils Term Maintenance. New position based near Camden.

The Contractor is a multi-disciplinary infrastructure maintenance business working for both the Private and Public sectors. They have an in-house capability for civil engineering, surfacing, specialist surfaces, hard and soft landscaping, road marking, traffic management and cleansing, delivering the full infrastructure maintenance package to suit the most demanding client requirements. Currently turning over £40m annually they have secure work in the Term Maintenance sector.

The Role is a new one to offer support to the Contracts Manager. Applicants should be seeking to climb the career ladder and this will allow them to understudy a Contracts Manager and develop their career. Previous experience as Site Manager / Supervisor / Senior or Project Engineer / Construction Manager would all be relevant.

The Work is allied to an £8m annual Civils Term Maintenance contract that will steadily grow as the areas increase. You will need to have good written and oral communications and be able to liaise with clients and staff alike.

• Surface dressing

Road safety markings, an integral part of the Company’s portfolio of services.
• Thermoplastic screed road markings
• Paint markings
• Thermoplastic spray or extrusion markings
• Hot applied anti skid
• Car park delineation
• Carriageway delineation
• Marking tapes
• Road studs
• Line removal
• Play ground markings

Qualifications, to a tertiary level, in Civil Engineering related disciplines are preferred though years of practical experience will also be considered favourably. Evidence of NRSWA qualifications, CITB 5 day training, First Aid and CSCS certification will be expected.
