Project Director – Construction - London – Main Contractor

A Construction Project Director (senior project manager) is required for a £100million mixed use development near Liverpool Street in London for a leading Main Contractor.

The Project Director (senior project manager) will be working on this 33-storey concrete frame and part steel frame building featuring extensive curtain walling to its façade. The project will become an instant landmark on the central London skyline. A majority of the project is to be used as student accommodation but will also feature retail units, a gym and commercial office space.

The successful Project Director (senior project manager) will work on this prestigious project, which will be starting early 2008 and running until 2010.

The main responsibilities will be to ensure there is a strong client focus and that good working relations are maintained in order to ensure full satisfaction with project delivery. You will be needed to ensure the contractor's design and delivery risk/opportunities are managed to ensure overall commercial profitability is maximised.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Director (senior project manager) to work for a main contractor working on new build construction projects with in the M25. This Main Contractor has an exceptional reputation through out the market and is one of the top 30 main contractors in the UK. Future projects will be with in the commercial, education, residential, sports and leisure sectors with project values being between £10million - £120million.

This Main Contractor is looking for a highly skilled Project Director (senior project manager) who is a motivated individual with a proven track record of technical expertise in new build and heavy refurbishment. Ideal candidates will enjoy working collaboratively with clients, consultants and contractors.
